Emirates Resumes Flights to 30 Cities in June, Frequency Included

Travellers flying between Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas, can now connect safely and efficiently through Dubai. However, travel restrictions remain in place in most of the destinations.

Emirates has resumed to 29 cities from Monday this week (15th June). Recently, Emirates also opened flights to Kabul, Afghanistan.

All flights will be carried out on Boeing 777-300ER. The Airbus A380s is expected to  be deployed from 1st July after reviewing the occupancy rate on selected routes.

Emirates received permissions to carry passengers on flights to Kabul in Afghanistan, starting from 25 June.

Passengers can now book to fly between destinations in the Asia Pacific and Europe or the Americas, with a convenient connection in Dubai, as long as they meet all necessary requirements of their respective destination country.

In an statement shared by Emirates spokesperson, the airline said:

“Working closely with the UAE authorities, Emirates continues to take a measured and phased approach to flight resumption and rebuilding connections between Dubai and the world.”

Health and Safety Measures

Emirates has stepped up COVID-19 precautions on-board its flights along with its hub in Dubai. The airline has been taking steps to protect both staffs and passengers.

Along with compulsory personal protective equipment for all staff, the airline has removed all inflight magazines and other reading materials to prevent germs. The carrier has also asked all passengers to wear a mask and gloves until they disembark the plane.

Safety Measures in Airport 

Similarly, Dubai airport has had marks added, helping to maintain correct distance among passengers while queuing at the airport. All passengers will be seated with at least a vacant seat between two passengers as pre-allocated.

Emirates has been disinfecting each aircraft after each and every flight at Dubai Airport. These measures are encouraging people opt. for the carrier to fly.

Recently, Emirates’ Chairman, Sheikh Maktoum said, “We expect it will take 18 months at least, before travel demand returns to a semblance of normality.
